Discount Fitness Equipment Review

Very happy with this item, can definitely feel improvement in chest, arms, shoulders after using for only a few weeks. However, for a well-rounded body workout, you need to do more than just use this equipment. Free weights, cardio, eating the right food and getting plenty of rest (when possible of course) all form a well-rounded lifestyle of getting fit and staying fit.

I bought the Ab Straps as well and they work great with this item.

User complaints about assembly are just unfounded - just follow the instructions methodically, it is not difficult at all as long as you diligently and patiently follow the instructions.

Easy to install, doesn't seem to be hurting the frame at all, can carry my weight without issue. Takes all of a few seconds to remove from the door if I need to move it. I've had no issues with it whatsoever and will likely use it for as long as it and the door frame last.

I purchaed this pull-up bar because it was similar to the P90X pull-up bar and its about $35 cheaper. It is easy to put together. I was a bit concerned that my doorway would not hold me as I am 235lbs but the doorway seems sturdy enough. While I was tested it out the first time it felt sturdy. However, when I tried the wide pull-ups two of the nuts shot off the bolt and I ended up holding part of the bar in my hand. The bolts sheared off flush at the nut. Well, I did not want that to happen again so I took the bolts to home depot and purchased steel bolts a little bit longer along with the corresponding nuts and washers. I installed the bolts so the bolts are pointed upwards. The bar works now and although I put in extra for the bolts it is still at least $25 cheaper than the P90X bar.

Quick and easy to set up with all necessities included in the box. No hassle and arrived fast! I havent tried any other bar, but this one does the job you're looking for perfectly.
